NEW ORLEANS, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Marc Bulger completed 27-of-33 passes for 302 yards and two touchdowns Sunday afternoon to lead the St. Louis Rams past New Orleans, 37-29.

The Rams' first win of the season broke an eight-game losing streak -- the team's longest slide since dropping 11 straight in the 1991-92 season.

Torry Holt had eight receptions for 124 yards and Isaac Bruce, Randy McMichael and Drew Bennett each had four receptions and a touchdown.

Running back Steven Jackson scored his first NFL touchdown through the air and had 22 carries for 76 yards, in his return to action after a bulging disc in his back knocked him out early against Cleveland Oct. 28.

Drew Brees completed 25-of-36 passes for 272 yards and a pair of touchdowns for the Saints, but was intercepted twice.
