BERKELEY, Calif., Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Chauncey Washington rushed for a career-high 220 yards and a score Saturday night, as No. 15 Southern California beat California, 24-17.

Working in rainy, windy conditions, John David Booty was 11-for-20 passing for 129 yards and a touchdown, and Stafon Johnson rushed for a score for the Trojans (8-2, 5-2 Pac-10), who won for the fourth time in their last five games.

Nate Longshore hit on 13-of-29 passes for 199 yards and a touchdown, but he also turned the ball over on two interceptions and a fumble for the Golden Bears (6-4, 3-4) -- who have lost four out of their last five.

Justin Forsett carried the ball 30 times for 163 yards and a touchdown.
