
COLLEGE PARK, Md., Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Chris Turner was 21-of-27 passing for 337 yards and three touchdowns Saturday night, as Maryland sent No. 8 Boston College to it second straight loss, 42-35.
Lance Ball picked up 109 yards on 32 carries and Darrius Heyward-Bey caught five passes for 75 yards -- and rushed for a 37-yard touchdown on a reverse for the Terrapins (5-5, 2-4 ACC), who snapped a three-game losing streak. Jason Goode caught six passes for 56 yards and two TDs and Emani Lee-Odai had three catches for 78 yards.
Matt Ryan was 33-of-56 passing for 421 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions for the Eagles (8-2, 4-2). Ryan Purvis caught 10 passes for 102 yards and two TDs, and Andre Callender picked up 56 yards on 12 rushes for Boston College.
