
HONOLULU, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- Colt Brennan tied the NCAA record for most career touchdown passes and led Hawaii to a 37-30 win over Fresno State at Honolulu's Aloha Stadium.
Brennan finished the game with 28 completions of 39 attempts with 396 yards and one interception. He tied the record of 121 set by Ty Detmer at Brigham Young University. Brennan also added a rushing touchdown.
At 4:17 in the final quarter, he was taken out of the game by a hit from Bulldogs linebacker Marcus Riley.
Davone Bess and Jason Rivers each logged a touchdown while Ryan Grice-Mullen had nine receptions for 128 yards for Hawaii.
For the Bulldogs, Tom Brandstater went 16-for-27 with 219 yards and three touchdowns while Marlon Moore had three catches for 59 yards and two touchdowns.
Hawaii and Kansas are the only two unbeaten teams in the NCAA.
