
ATHENS, Ga., Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Freshman Knowshon Moreno ran for 101 yards and two third-quarter touchdowns Saturday afternoon, as 10th-ranked Georgia defeated 17th-ranked Auburn, 45-20.
Matthew Stafford passed for 237 yards and two touchdowns to help the Bulldogs win their fourth game in a row. Thomas Brown added 81 yards rushing and one touchdown for Georgia (8-2, 5-2 SEC), and Sean Bailey caught four passes for 96 yards and a TD.
Brandon Cox threw for 133 yards and one touchdown on 14-of-30 passing, but also had four interceptions for Auburn (7-4, 4-3). Ben Tate rushed for 58 yards and a TD for the Tigers.
Georgia trailed, 20-17, after Wes Byrum kicked a 33-yard field goal at the end of an 11-play, 45-yard drive with 6:47 left in the third period.
