COL FB: Cincinnati 27, Connecticut 3

CINCINNATI, Nov. 10 (UPI) -- Ben Mauk passed for 276 yards and three touchdowns and ran for another TD Saturday afternoon, as Cincinnati defeated 16th-ranked Connecticut, 27-3.

Mauk completed 21-of-33 passes. Dominick Goodman caught eight for 127 yards and a touchdown. Connor Barwin and Charley Howard also caught TD passes for the Bearcats (8-2, 3-2 Big East Conference).

Jacob Ramsey rushed for 66 yards on 17 carries and Greg Moore picked up 64 yards on 10 rushes for Cincinnati.

Tyler Lorenzen completed 18-of-37 passes for 182 yards for Connecticut (8-2, 4-1). He also was sacked three times.

Tony Ciaravino scored UConn's only points with a 22-yard field goal.

The Huskies are tied for first place in the Big East with sixth-ranked West Virginia.
