NHL: Philadelphia 3, Pittsburgh 1

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 7 (UPI) -- Martin Biron made 26 saves Wednesday as road-weary Philadelphia downed Pittsburgh 3-1.

It was the seventh game of an eight-game road trip for the Flyers. The journey ends Thursday in New Jersey, where a victory would allow Philadelphia to break even in the eight games.
