ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 7 (UPI) -- The Toronto Blue Jays are not willing to trade star right-hander A.J. Burnett, one of their best pitchers, unless a deal is worth it.

ESPN.com reported Tuesday night the Jays might do a deal at this week's GM meetings in Orlando, Fla., where their own general manager, J.P. Ricciardi, is in attendance.

Burnett, who teams with Roy Halladay for one of the best duos in the American League, is not completely untouchable.

"We like having A.J. here," Ricciardi said. "He gives us a good opportunity to win in 2008, and that's our main objective right now, (but) we're open-minded. If someone blew us away, we'd be foolish not to listen. If someone came to us tomorrow and said, 'We'll give you this, this and this for him,' we'd be foolish not to look at it."

Burnett, 30, is scheduled to make $12 million in each of the next two years, and in the following two years if he stays with Toronto.
