JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Nov. 6 (UPI) -- Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Marcus Stroud was suspended by the NFL for four games Tuesday for violating the NFL banned substances policy.

Stroud started all eight games for the Jaguars this season, recording 22 tackles and three sacks.

Jacksonville also placed guard Chris Naeole on injured reserve after he suffered a torn tendon Sunday. Naeole started all eight games this season at right guard and had started 87 games for the Jaguars since signing as an unrestricted free agent in 2002. Sunday was his 150th start in his 154-game career.
