COL BKB: Memphis 102, Tenn-Martin 71

MEMPHIS, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Chris Douglas-Roberts had 28 points and eight rebounds Monday to lead third-ranked Memphis to a 102-71 victory over Tennessee-Martin.

Freshman Derrick Rose added 17 points, six rebounds and five assists for the Tigers (1-0), who advanced to play Richmond Tuesday in the regional final of the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic. The winner of Tuesday's game advances to the semifinal round on Nov. 15 at Madison Square Garden.

Robert Dozier had 10 points and 10 rebounds for Memphis, which increased its nation-best home winning streak to 33 games.

Lester Hudson had 35 points and had 10 rebounds to pace the Skyhawks (0-1), who will play Maine Tuesday. Richmond beat Maine 44-42 earlier Monday.
