COL FB: Southern Cal 24, Oregon State 3

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- John David Booty threw two touchdown passes in a 21-point second quarter Saturday, as 15th-ranked Southern California beat Oregon State, 24-3.

Booty was 19-for-33 for 157 yards and Chauncey Washington rushed for one touchdown and caught a pass for another for the Trojans (7-2, 4-2 Pac-10).

Sean Canfield was only 11-for-25 for 85 yards and an interception for the Beavers (5-4, 3-3), who had a three-game winning streak snapped.

The score was tied 3-3 in the second quarter before the Trojans went on their three-touchdown binge. There was no scoring in the second half.
