COL FB: Oregon 35, Arizona State 23

EUGENE, Ore., Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Dennis Dixon threw four touchdown passes Saturday as the fourth-ranked Oregon Ducks defeated sixth-ranked Arizona State, 35-23.

Dixon was 13-for-27 for 189 yards and added 57 yards rushing for the Ducks (8-1, 5-1 Pac-10), who have won four straight and have taken over first place in the Pacific 10. Jaison Williams caught five passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns.

Dixon left the game in the fourth quarter with an injury to his left leg.

Rudy Carpenter was 27-for-36 for 379 yards and two touchdowns for the Sun Devils (8-1, 5-1).
