
COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Chris Wells ran for three second-half touchdowns Saturday afternoon as top-ranked Ohio State routed No. 19 Wisconsin, 38-17.
Wells scored once in the third quarter and twice in the fourth to help the unbeaten Buckeyes (10-0, 6-0 Big Ten) add to a 10-3 halftime advantage. Overall, Wells rushed for 167 yards on 21 carries.
The Buckeyes have won 20 straight conference games to set a Big Ten record.
Quarterback Todd Boeckman went 17-for-28 passing for 166 yards with two touchdowns, Brian Hartline caught seven passes for 95 yards, and fellow wide receiver Brian Robiskie scored twice on three catches for 46 yards.
Ohio State linebacker James Laurinaitis made a team-high 19 tackles.
Wisconsin's Tyler Donovan passed for two touchdowns after completing 18 of 30 throws for 226 yards.
Running back Zach Brown gained 63 yards on 20 carries, and Travis Beckhum scored once on nine receptions for 140 yards for the Badgers (7-3, 3-3), who trail the all-time series, 51-17-5.
