COL FB: Kansas 76, Nebraska 39

LAWRENCE, Kan., Nov. 3 (UPI) -- Todd Reesing threw a school record six touchdown passes Saturday afternoon to help eighth-ranked Kansas trounce Nebraska, 76-39.

In all, the 5-foot-11 inch sophomore from Austin, Texas threw four scoring passes in the first half as the Jayhawks (9-0, 5-0 Big 12) built a commanding 48-24 advantage at the break.

In all, he completed 30 of 41 passes for 354 yards and no interceptions.

Brandon McAnderson scored four times on 26 carries for 119 yards, Marcus Henry scored once on six catches for 101 yards, and fellow wideout Dezmon Briscoe caught three touchdown passes as Kansas scored the most points ever against Nebraska while ending a 1-37 recent record in the series.

Nebraska's Joe Ganz went 25-for-50 for 402 yards, four touchdowns, and four interceptions.

Maurice Purify scored three times on seven receptions for 159 yards for the Cornhuskers (4-6, 1-5), who have dropped five in a row for the first time since the 1958 season.
