MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- Minnesota second-year guard Randy Foye has been diagnosed with a knee injury and will be out of the Timblewolves' lineup for an indefinite period.
Foye underwent a series of examinations on Monday that indicated a stress reaction in his left patella.

A release from the team offered no other details on the injury or a recovery timetable.
Foye was the seventh overall pick by the Timblewolves in the 2006 NBA draft and averaged 10.1 points and 2.8 assists a game over 82 contests last season. He was selected to the NBA All-Rookie First Team last year.
