NFL: New Orleans 31, San Francisco 10

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 28 (UPI) -- Drew Brees threw four touchdown passes Sunday afternoon, three of them to Marques Colston, as the New Orleans Saints beat San Francisco, 31-10.

Brees completed 31-of-39 passes for 336 yards for the Saints (3-4), who amassed 438 total yards.

Colston had eight catches for 85 yards and the three scores, while David Patten had five catches for 109 yards and Reggie Bush had 113 total yards for the Saints, including 64 on the ground.

Alex Smith connected on 22-of-43 passes for 190 yards and one TD for the 49ers, (2-5) who have lost five straight after starting the season 2-0.

Vernon Davis had six catches for 71 yards and the only touchdown for the 49ers.
