PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla., Oct. 27 (UPI) -- The third round of the PGA's Ginn sur Mer Classic was suspended due to darkness Saturday with Daniel Chopra and Bob Estes tied at 16-under par.

Chopra was 3-under through 11 holes Saturday, while Estes was 2-under after 11. Both players hit their tee shots on the par-3 12th- before play was halted for the night.

The tournament has been playing catch-up since Thursday when the opening round was halted by darkness. Inclement weather halted the second round Friday, and that round was completed Saturday before the third round could begin.

The third round was halted for the day by darkness at 6:38 p.m. (EDT). Thirty-four players did not complete their third rounds. Players will return to the course at 8 a.m. Sunday morning.

Briny Baird and Shigeki Maruyama are two strokes back at 14-under. Baird has completed 15 holes and Maruyama 14.

Fredrik Jacobson is also through 14 holes and was at 13-under.
