PITTSBURGH, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Jiri Tlusty scored two goals Thursday night to help the Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Pittsburgh Penguins, 5-2.
Tlusty scored both goals in the third period, with the eventual game-winner coming at 10:02 of the third to break a 2-2 tie and put the Maple Leafs in front for good.
Alexander Steen, Thomas Kaberle and Boyd Devereaux all scored, and goaltender Vesa Toskala stopped 23-of-25 Pittsburgh shots, as Toronto stopped a two-game skid at Pittsburgh's Mellon Arena.
Pittsburgh got goals from Sydney Crosby at 16:20 of the first and Sergei Gonchar (power play) at 14:51 of the third.
Goalie Marc-Andre Fleury was beaten five times on 27 Toronto shots, as the Penguins had a three-game winning streak broken.
On the power play, the Maple Leafs were 1-for-3, while the Penguins went 1-for-6.
