NHL: Columbus 3, St. Louis 0

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Pascal Leclaire kept his hot start in goal going Thursday night with his fourth shutout of the seasons, as Columbus beat the St. Louis Blues, 3-0.

Leclaire recorded just three shutouts in the entire 2005-06 season. The only goal he needed Thursday was scored by Jared Boll at 13:30 of the first period.

Rick Nash scored in the second and Jiri Novotny scored unassisted in the third, as the Blue Jackets won their third straight game.

St. Louis goalie Hannu Toivonen gave up two goals on 27 shots for the Blues, who have lost twice in three games.

On the power play, Columbus went 1-for-2, and the Blues were 0-for-3.
