Attilla's Storm, Dixie Chatter out of BC

Oct. 25, 2007 at 11:17 AM   |   Comments

OCEANPORT, N.J., Oct. 25 (UPI) -- Trainer Richard Schosberg Thursday pulled Attilla's Storm from the $2 million TVG Breeders' Cup Sprint at Monmouth Park in Oceanport, N.J.

Schosberg said Attilla's Storm "has some filling" in his left-front ankle and was a little sore.

"It's nothing major but he's not 100 percent," Schosberg said in declaring the 5-year-old from Friday's race.

Trainer Richard Mandella also declared Dixie Chatter from Saturday's $2 million Bessemer Trust Breeders' Cup Juvenile. Mandella said the 2-year-old Juvenile favorite was running a fever of 102.

"We've got to err on the side of caution," Mandella said.
