KANSAS CITY, Mo., Oct. 23 (UPI) -- Kansas City forward Scott Sealy was named Tuesday as Major League Soccer's Player of the Week for the second time in the last six weeks.

Sealy, who has won the award three times in his career, had two goals as K.C. clinched a playoff berth Saturday with a 2-0 win over FC Dallas. Sealy finished second on the Wizards with seven goals this season.

Kansas City won five player of the week awards this season. K.C. forward Eddie Johnson, who led the team with 15 goals this season, had three awards in the first nine weeks of the season.

Sealy is the seventh player in Kansas City history to win the award more than once in his career and the fifth to win the award more than once in a single season.
