NFL: Cincinnati 38, N.Y. Jets 31

CINCINNATI, Oct. 21 (UPI) -- Carson Palmer threw for a touchdown and Kenny Watson rushed for three scores Sunday afternoon, as the Cincinnati Bengals beat the New York Jets, 38-31.

Palmer completed 14-of-21 passes for 226 yards, with the one touchdown and an interception. The Bengals (2-4) put up 28 unanswered points in the second half.

Chad Johnson had three catches for 102 yards and T.J. Houshmandzadeh had four catches for 43 yards and a touchdown for the Bengals.

Watson replaced Rudi Johnson, who was out with a hamstring injury.

Chad Pennington completed 20-of-31 passes for 272 yards and three touchdowns for the Jets, but threw an interception in the fourth quarter that led to a Bengals score.
