TORONTO, Oct. 20 (UPI) -- Danny Dichio scored a goal in stoppage time in the 90th minute Saturday afternoon, as Toronto FC and New England played to a 2-2 draw.
The Major League Soccer contest, played in Toronto, helped the expansion team end its initial season with a hard-earned point, but the home team still went out on a three-game winless streak.
The draw left Toronto with 25 points for the season and an overall mark of 6-17-7.
Dichio scored the franchise's first-ever goal May 12 against Chicago.
The Revolution (14-8-8), who have clinched a playoff berth, got goals from Michael Parkhurst in the 44th minute and Taylor Twellman in the 48th, but could not hold a 2-0 halftime lead.
New England faces the New York Red Bulls next Saturday in the first leg of their Eastern Conference semifinal match-up, but ended the regular season with a three-game winless streak.
