NASHVILLE, Oct. 15 (UPI) -- Tennessee Titans quarterback Vince Young has a strained right quadriceps muscle and is being listed as day-to-day after being injured Sunday.
"Obviously the injury we're most concerned about is Vince's leg," Titans Coach Jeff Fisher said Monday. "He has a thigh strain. We did an MRI but don't have the results back. He could not practice today. He's sore, but it's not as bad as we thought so he'll be day-to-day. Our treatment path will be to try and get him back on the practice field as fast as we can."
Young left the team's 13-10 loss against Tampa Bay in the third quarter. On a first-and-10 play from the Titans' 25-yard line, Young scrambled out of bounds and injured the leg. Trainers initially treated the injury on the sideline but Young never re-entered the game.
Fisher also announced wide receiver Brandon Jones underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Monday and could be out at least two weeks.
