NFL: New Orleans 28, Seattle 17

SEATTLE, Oct. 15 (UPI) -- Drew Brees completed 25-of-36 passes for 246 yards and two touchdowns Sunday night, as the New Orleans Saints beat Seattle, 28-17.

David Patten caught eight passes for 113 yards and Reggie Bush picked up 97 yards on 19 carries and gained another 44 yards on six catches.

The Saints (1-4) also got a blocked field goal by Josh Bullocks.

Matt Hasselbeck went 26-of-43 passing for 362 yards, two touchdowns and one interception for Seattle (3-3) -- which has dropped two in a row.
