
CINCINNATI, Oct. 13 (UPI) -- Brian Brohm completed 28-of-38 passes for 350 yards and three touchdowns Saturday, as Louisville handed No. 17 Cincinnati its first loss of the season, 28-24.
Harry Douglas caught seven passes for 118 yards, Scott Long had five receptions for 75 yards and Patrick Carter caught five for 59 yards and a pair of touchdowns for the Cardinals (4-3 overall, 1-1 Big East).
Brock Bolen carried 12 times for 38 yards and had four catches for 45 yards and a touchdown, while Anthony Allen scored the go-ahead touchdown.
Cincinnati (6-1, 1-1) was paced by Ben Mauk, who completed 26-of-45 pass attempts for 324 yards and three touchdowns. Dominick Goodman had 11 receptions for 141 yards and a touchdown and red-shirt freshman Marcus Barnett caught five passes for 83 yards and two TDs.
Butler Benton rushed 10 times for 56 yards for the Bearcats, who -- following LSU's loss Saturday afternoon -- owned the nation's longest winning streak at nine games.
