FRISCO, Texas, Oct. 11 (UPI) -- Brad Guzman and Ray Burse posted shutouts Thursday, as FC Dallas and Chivas USA played to a 0-0 draw in a meeting of Major League Soccer playoff-bound teams.
Guzman recorded his 12th shutout of the season for Chivas, which leads the Western Conference with 52 points and trails D.C. United by two points in the battle for the best record in MLS.
Guzman has allowed 23 goals in 25 games this season.
Dallas' Arturo Alvarez almost stole the game in the 91st minute, but his shot hit the right post.
