
PITTSBURGH, Oct. 7 (UPI) -- Ben Roethlisberger threw for one touchdown on 18-for-22 passing for 206 yards Sunday as Pittsburgh mauled the Seattle Seahawks, 21-0.
His scoring pass went to tight end Heath Miller late in the first half to give Pittsburgh a 7-0 halftime lead.
Najeh Davenport scored on a pair of short runs in the second half, and Willie Parker carried 28 times for 102 yards as the Steelers bounced back after their only loss this season at Arizona last Sunday.
Seattle quarterback Matt Hasselbeck completed just 13 of 27 passes for 116 yards with one interception.
Running back Shaun Alexander carried 11 times for just 25 yards, and Ben Obomanu made two catches for 38 yards as the Seahawks had a two-game winning streak broken.
The teams last met in the Super Bowl in 2005.
