COL FB: South Fla. 35, Fla. Atlantic 23

BOCA RATON, Fla., Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Benjamin Williams rushed for 186 yards and four touchdowns Saturday as ninth-ranked South Florida posted a 35-23 win over Florida Atlantic.

Matt Grothe ran for 120 yards and a TD and completed 17 of 27 passes for 122 yards with an interception and Amari Jackson caught six passes for 60 yards for South Florida (5-0).

Rusty Smith threw for three touchdowns and an interception on 23-of-47 passing and 259 yards for Florida Atlantic (3-3). Jason Harmon caught seven passes for 82 yards and a score, DiIvory Edgecomb three receptions for 74 yards and a TD, and Cortez Gent seven catches for 61 yards and a touchdown.
