TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, Oct. 6 (UPI) -- Victoria Azarenka of Belarus and Pauline Parmentier of France will meet in Sunday’s final at the Tashkent Open at Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
In Saturday's semifinals, the top-seeded Azarenka beat fourth-seeded Russian Elena Vesnina 6-4, 6-2, and Parmentier downed No. 3 seed Belarusian Olga Govortsova 6-2, 7-5.

Azarenka won the mixed doubles title at the U.S. Open last month.
Sunday will be the first meeting between Azarenka and Parmentier, who also will be after their first career title.
The winner will earn $21,165.
