MLS: New York 2, Real Salt Lake 2 (draw)

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Sept. 30 (UPI) -- Juan Pablo Angel scored in the 80th minute Saturday night, as New York and Real Salt Lake played to a 2-2 draw in an MLS contest at East Rutherford, N.J.

Francis Doe scored the other goal in the 49th minute, as the Red Bulls (11-10-6) settled for a third straight tie. Angel's 17th goal of the season -- a Red Bulls team record -- came on a penalty kick.

The Red Bulls have just one win in their last seven games, but maintained third place in the Eastern Conference.

3 in its last four games, is last in the West, and will not make the post-season.
