MLS: Houston 3, FC Dallas 0

FRISCO, Texas, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- Dwayne De Rosario scored in the 45th minute Sunday to start Houston’s 3-0 victory over FC Dallas in Major League Soccer action.

The Dynamo, improving to 14-7-6 overall, also got goals from Eddie Robinson in the 63rd minute after an assist by Richard Mulrooney, and Stuart Holden in the 84th minute.

With its third straight victory, Houston moved back into a tie with Chivas USA for the lead in the Western Conference.

FC Dallas (12-11-4) has lost five of its last seven games and fell to 0-3-1 against the Dynamo this season.

Houston goalkeeper Pat Onstad recorded his ninth shutout this season and leads the MLS in goals allowed at 0.84 per game.
