MLB: N.Y. Yankees 11, Baltimore 10

BALTIMORE, Sept. 30 (UPI) -- Melky Cabrera, Robinson Cano and Shelley Duncan had two RBI each Saturday night, as the New York Yankees out-lasted Baltimore, 11-10.

Duncan hit a two-run homer, his seventh homer this season, to cap a 10-run outburst in the fourth inning. Cano’s two-run single earlier in the inning gave him 97 RBI this season.

Duncan and Cano were two of six players with two hits for the Yankees, who bounced back from an early 6-1 deficit to get the third win in their last four games.

The winner was starter Andy Pettitte (15-9).

Jose Veras earned his second save.

Baltimore got a three-run homer and four RBI from Ramon Hernandez, a two-run homer from Nick Markakis and a solo shot by Jay Payton.

Three players had one RBI each, and Markakis had three hits for the Orioles, who have split their last 10 games.

The losing pitcher was starter Daniel Cabrera (9-18).
