The Giants began their final series of the year without Barry Bonds in the lineup, and Bonds is not expected to play this weekend. The team has announced it will not re-sign the all-time home run record holder for next season.

Kevin Correia (4-7) took the loss, giving up five runs in six innings. Correia has appeared in 59 games this season, but this was only his eighth start.
