BOULDER, Colo., Sept. 29 (UPI) -- Kevin Eberhart kicked a 45-yard field goal as time expired Saturday to give the Colorado Buffaloes a 27-24 victory over fourth-ranked Oklahoma.
Colorado, which rebounded from a 17-point deficit, got the ball at midfield with 2:41 to play, thanks to a 31-yard punt return by Chase McBride. Colorado picked up 21 more yards on three plays -- including a 16-yard pass from Cody Hawkins to Kendrick Celestine -- to set up Eberhart's field goal.
Hawkins was 22-for-36 for 220 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions for the Buffaloes (3-2, 1-0 Big 12), who snapped a five-game losing streak against Oklahoma.
Sam Bradford was 8-for-19 for 112 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions, and Allen Patrick had 18 carries for 96 yards and two scores for the Sooners (4-1, 0-1).
