MLB: Texas 3, LA Angels 1

ARLINGTON, Texas, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- David Murray went 2-for-3 and drove in a run Tuesday as the Texas Rangers slipped by the Los Angeles Angels 3-1.

Jamey Wright (4-5) finished the game with four innings of two-hit ball for the win. Starter A.J. Murray allowed five hits and a run over five innings.

Hank Blalock had an RBI and a run for the Rangers, who have won four of their last five games. Ian Kinsler was 3-for-4 with a run scored.

Darren Oliver (3-1) took the loss after allowing three runs on three hits in 1 1/3 innings in relief. Ereic Aybar homered for the Angels.
