SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 25 (UPI) -- Omar Vizquel drove in four runs Monday, powering San Francisco to a 9-4 victory over San Diego, which fell into a tie in the NL wild card race.

Barry Zito (10-13) yielded four runs on eight hits through five innings for his first victory in more than a month. Randy Winn chipped in four hits to help pace the Giants' offense.

Chris Young (9-8) took the loss for the Padres' who have lost four straight. He gave up seven runs on eight hits and four walks, and now is 0-5 in his last 10 starts with his last win coming July 19.

The Padres are now in a dead heat in the wild card race with Philadelphia. The Mets lost to Washington and sit two games ahead of the Phillies for the NL East top spot.

Brian Giles drove in two runs and Adrian Gonzalez collected three hits in defeat.

The Padres' lineup will be without Milton Bradley, who tore his ACL Friday when Manager Bud Black pushed him away from an argument he was having with an umpire, and Mike Cameron, whose hand was stepped on in the outfield by Bradley earlier in that game.
