Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
CHICAGO, Sept. 16 (UPI) -- Rex Grossman connected on 20 of 34 passes for 160 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions Sunday, as the Chicago Bears held off Kansas City, 20-10.
Cedric Benson rushed for 101 yards on 24 attempts for Chicago (1-1). Bernard Berrian caught five passes for 65 yards, and Devin Hester returned a punt 73 yards for a touchdown.
Damon Huard completed 19 of 28 passes for 175 yards with a touchdown and an interception for Kansas City (0-2). Larry Johnson gained 55 yards on 16 carries, and Jeff Webb caught four balls for 59 yards in the loss.
