KANSAS CITY, Mo., Sept. 16 (UPI) -- Scott Sealy's second goal of the night turned out to be a game winner Saturday, giving the Kansas City Wizards a 3-2 Major League Soccer win over Columbus.

The Crew was hanging onto a late 2-1 lead -- along with its hopes of making the playoffs -- when Eddie Johnson tied the game on a penalty kick in the 93rd minute.

Sealy put in the game-winner a minute later, allowing the Wizards to strengthen their playoff hand while keeping Columbus behind eight other teams for the eight MLS playoff spots.

Sealy had scored in the 31st minute, but the Crew went up, 2-1, when Alejandro Moreno and Andy Herron scored two minutes apart after the 60th minute.

The Wizards have 36 points, eight points better than the Crew.

Kansas City visits CD Chivas USA Saturday, when the Crew travel to Salt Lake City.
