Florida starter Dontrelle Willis (9-15) got the win, surviving six innings while giving up five runs on seven hits. Willis had been 1-12 in his previous 19 starts.

Kevin Gregg gave up a ninth-inning homer that made it a one-run game, but still picked up his 30th save.

The loss went to Matt Herges (4-1), who retired only two batters while giving up four hits and two runs in the seventh.
