
MADISON, Wis., Sept. 15 (UPI) -- No. 7 Wisconsin pulled away from The Citadel Saturday, 45-31, as P.J. Hill rushed for 168 yards and four touchdowns, and contributed a TD reception.
Initially, The Citadel kept up with Wisconsin offensively and scored late to tie the game at 21-21 at the half.
However, the Badgers outscored The Citadel 21-10 in the second half to win going away.
Tyler Donovan completed 14 of 20 passes for 201 yards and two touchdowns for the Badgers (3-0), who extended their winning streak to 12 games back to last season -- the longest active winning streak in the nation.
Duran Lawson threw for 254 yards on 23-of-35 passing with four touchdowns and an interception for the Bulldogs (2-1), who were coming off a 76-0 rout of Webber International.
