Pinto activated from disabled list

MIAMI, Sept. 14 (UPI) -- Renyel Pinto was activated by the Florida Marlins Friday from the 15-day-disabled list.

Pinto was 2-4 with a 4.10 ERA and one save in 49 appearances in relief this season but has been on the disabled list since August with a left shoulder strain.

Florida also sent infielder Aaron Boone to the 60-day disabled list.
