Injured Manning practices with Giants

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., Sept. 14 (UPI) -- New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning practiced Friday ahead of Sunday's game against Green Bay but it was still uncertain whether he would play.

Manning suffered a contusion to the joint in his right shoulder during a 45-35 loss to Dallas Sunday night. He threw for 312 yards with four touchdowns and an interception on 28-of-41 passing, leaving in the fourth quarter with the injury.

Also Friday, defensive end Osi Umenyiora practiced in preparation for Sunday's game. Umenyiora has an irritated lateral meniscus in his left knee, which forced him out of last week's loss to the Cowboys.

Giants Coach Tom Coughlin declined to say whether either player would play Sunday.
