
PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 8 (UPI) -- Chris Coste, Jimmy Rollins and Greg Dobbs all had two RBI Saturday as Philadelphia blasted the Florida Marlins 9-1.
Coste and Rollins hit two-run homers, while Dobbs hit a solo homer and an RBI triple.
Three other players had one RBI and three had two hits as the Phillies ended a two-game skid.
The winner was reliever Clay Condrey (5-0) after starter John Ennis gave up an earned run and six hits in four innings.
Florida’s run scored on Hanley Ramirez’ 25th homer this season in the top of the first to start the contest.
Jeremy Hermida and Miguel Olivo had two hits apiece for the Marlins, losers of four of their last five games.
Losing pitcher Rick VandenHurk (4-6) surrendered three earned runs on five hits in four innings with three walks and four strikeouts.
Florida reliever Ross Wolf gave up four runs in the bottom of the eighth.
