SEATTLE, Sept. 8 (UPI) -- Jake Locker threw for one touchdown and ran for another Saturday as the Washington Huskies defeated 20th-ranked Boise State, 24-10.

Locker completed 13-of-25 passes for 193 yards and ran for a team-high 84 yards for Washington (2-0).

Marcel Reece made four catches for 102 yards and a touchdown for the Huskies, who have won three straight dating back to last season.

Ian Johnson was held to only 81 yards rushing for Boise State (1-1), which saw its nation's-best winning streak end at 14 games.

Johnson lost a fumble and quarterback Taylor Tharp was picked off three times, as the Broncos committed turnovers in their first setback since losing to Boston College in December 2005 in the Holiday Bowl.

Tharp completed 29-of-47 passes for 285 yards.
