ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., Sept. 5 (UPI) -- Carlos Pena had two home runs Wednesday, one of them a grand slam, and a team-record seven RBI in carrying Tampa Bay to a 17-2 smashing of Baltimore.
Delmon Young added a three-run homer, and both Brendan Harris and Jonny Gomes had solo blasts as part of a 22-hit onslaught that brought the Devil Rays their seventh win in nine games.

Pena extended his franchise record for homers in a season to 37. His grand slam highlighted an eight-run fourth inning, during which the Devil Rays had three home runs. Pena boosted his RBI total to 105.
Andy Sonnanstine (5-9) won his third straight start, giving up nine hits and two runs over six innings. The loss went to Radhames Liz (0-2), who was making his third major start. He allowed four runs on six hits in 1 2/3.
