MLB: Seattle 7, N.Y. Yankees 1

NEW YORK, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Yuniesky Betancourt had three RBI Monday as the Seattle Mariners beat the N.Y. Yankees, 7-1.

Yankees Manager Joe Torre said losing pitcher Roger Clemens will have an MRI on his right elbow after feeling discomfort in the fourth inning.

Ichiro Suzuki was 3-for-5 with a homer for the Mariners, who snapped a nine- game losing streak. The home run was Suzuki's 200th hit of the season, marking the seventh straight year he has reached the 200-hit mark.

Felix Hernandez (11-7) allowed just one run on five hits in seven innings for the win.

Alex Rodriguez was 2-for-4 and drove in a run for the Yankees, who have lost three of four games and fell 6 1/2 games behind Boston in the AL East.

Clemens (6-6) allowed five runs on eight hits in four innings.
