OAKLAND, Calif., Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Jack Hannahan had three hits and three RBI, including a key 10th-inning double, Sunday as the Oakland Athletics beat Detroit, 8-7, in 10 innings.

The Athletics staged an eight-run rally to make a winner of Huston Street (4-2), who pitched on scoreless inning in relief. Starter Dallas Braden gave up six runs on nine hits, with two walks and three strikeouts over 4 2/3 innings.

Kurt Suzuki had two hits, including a game-tying two-run homer, and four RBI. Marco Scutaro had two hits and two runs scored and Nick Swisher had one RBI for the Athletics, who have won three of their last four.

Yorman Bazardo (0-1) allowed one run on one hit, but paid dearly for hitting a batter and failed to record an out in the 10th.

Tigers’ starter Nate Robertson went six innings, allowing four hits and two runs.

Marcus Thames had three hits and three RBI for the Tigers, who lost for the fourth time in their last six games. Ramon Santiago had three hits and two RBI, while Ryan Raburn and Mike Rabelo each drove in one run.
