BOSTON, Sept. 3 (UPI) -- Mike Lowell wen 3-for-4 with a three-run home run and four RBI Monday as the Boston Red Sox powered past the Toronto Blue Jays 13-10.
Dustin Pedroia added three hits, three runs scored and two RBI, and Jacoby Ellsbury scored three times for the Red Sox.

Daisuke Matsuzaka (14-11) got the win despite giving up seven runs on 10 hits in 5 1/3 innings.
Boston now holds a seven-game lead over New York for first place in the AL East.
Troy Glaus hit a three-run homer, and Matt Stairs was 4-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored for the Blue Jays. Toronto pitcher Jesse Litsch (5-7) allowed seven runs on seven hits in 3 1/3 innings.
