HOUSTON, Sept. 2 (UPI) -- Eddie Johnson and Joseph Ngwenya exchanged goals Saturday night as Kansas City and Houston played to a 1-1 draw in a Major League Soccer contest at Houston.
Johnson scored in the 44th minute and Ngwenya scored the equalizer in the 69th minute.

The Dynamo (11-7-6) picked up a point on FC Dallas, who fell to D.C. United, but for the second consecutive game, Houston was unable to take full advantage in extending their lead in the Western Conference.
The Wizards (9-9-6) suffered the second loss in their last three games, and are fourth in the East.
